Review Process
At IJULR, we are committed to upholding rigorous academic standards through a double-blind peer review system. In this process, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to one another, ensuring every manuscript receives a fair and unbiased evaluation.
Step-by-Step Review Process
- Manuscript Receipt & Tracking — Upon submission through the official channel, each manuscript is assigned a unique tracking ID (e.g., IJULR-2025-001) for internal reference and correspondence.
- Anonymization — All identifying information including author names, email addresses, and institutional affiliations is removed before the manuscript proceeds to review, ensuring complete confidentiality.
- Editorial Screening — The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to verify that the submission falls within IJULR's interdisciplinary legal scope, adheres to formatting and referencing guidelines, clears a plagiarism check, and includes all required sections.
- Reviewer Assignment — The anonymized manuscript is forwarded to two subject matter experts, selected on the basis of their specialized knowledge in the manuscript's subject area.
- Peer Evaluation — Reviewers assess the manuscript across four key dimensions: originality and innovation, relevance to law and allied disciplines, clarity and structural coherence, and depth of research and referencing.
This transparent, structured review process ensures that IJULR publishes only original, high-quality research while treating all authors with fairness and equality.
