Publication Process
IJULR is committed to a swift, ethical, and professional publication process. Below are the detailed steps for manuscript submission and publication:
Step-by-Step Publication Process
- Manuscript Submission - Authors must submit their original and unpublished manuscript in MS Word format (.doc or .docx), along with a structured abstract (150–250 words) and relevant keywords (5–8), to the official journal website. Co-author details and a brief author biography must also be included.
- Acknowledgement of Receipt - An acknowledgement email will be sent to the corresponding author within 24 hours of submission, confirming successful receipt along with the assigned tracking ID for future reference.
- Initial Editorial Screening - The editorial team will screen the manuscript for relevance to IJULR's scope, formatting compliance, and plagiarism (acceptable similarity index: below 15%). Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum criteria will be notified of rejection with brief reasons provided.
- Double-Blind Peer Review - Manuscripts passing the initial screening will undergo a double-blind peer review conducted by two subject matter experts, typically completed within 4–6 working days.
-
Decision & Revision - Following the review, one of the following decisions will be communicated to the author:
- Accepted - A formal acceptance confirmation email will be issued.
- Minor Revision - The author must submit the revised manuscript within 3–5 working days.
- Major Revision - The author must submit the revised manuscript within 7–10 working days.
- Rejected - A rejection notification will be sent with reviewer feedback where applicable.
- Final Proofreading & Formatting - Accepted manuscripts undergo a final round of proofreading and layout formatting by the editorial team before publication to ensure consistency and quality.
-
Publication & Post-Publication Deliverables - Within 10 working days of publication, the author will receive:
- A soft copy of the Certificate of Publication
- A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) assigned to the article for global indexing
- A soft copy of the published research paper along with the journal's ISSN number
- A link to the live article on the IJULR website for sharing and citation purposes
