Prof. (Dr.) V. J. Praneshwaran holds B.A.L., LL.B., LL.M., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Bangalore University, with a specialization in Constitutional Law. He possesses over 17 years of teaching experience, 5 years of research experience, and 6.5 years of industry and legal practice, reflecting a well-rounded blend of academic excellence and professional expertise. He has served as a Member of the Board of Examiners (BoE) for Postgraduate Law (2022–2023) at Bangalore University. With extensive experience in legal practice, client counselling, and academia, Prof. Praneshwaran has made significant contributions to legal education, legal awareness, and literacy initiatives. In addition, he is associated as a Patron with a registered legal aid trust, actively supporting access to justice and promoting community legal empowerment.

His academic interests centre on Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, and Constitutional Interpretation. His research and publications engage with themes such as the Basic Structure doctrine, constitutional identity, and the impact of constitutional interpretation on the criminal justice system. During his years in practice, he has appeared before the High Court of Karnataka and other judicial forums. In academia, he has been actively involved in organizing national and international seminars, contributing to editorial responsibilities in law journals, and mentoring students in moot court and debate competitions. He continues to contribute to legal scholarship through teaching, research, and academic leadership.

Dr. Souradeep Rakshit is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. He completed his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. from the Department of Law, University of North Bengal, and was awarded the prestigious University Medal by the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. He has qualified UGC-NET and holds a Ph.D., with research focused on the constitutional protection of human rights of under-trial prisoners and bail jurisprudence. His areas of specialization include Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and Criminal Jurisprudence. He has published extensively in SCOPUS-indexed and UGC CARE-listed journals and has presented research papers at several national and international conferences. He also serves as the Faculty Coordinator of the Moot Court Society and is a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). With a strong commitment to academic excellence and socio-legal research, Dr. Rakshit actively engages in interdisciplinary scholarship addressing contemporary constitutional and criminal justice issues. His work reflects a dedication to strengthening legal education, promoting human rights discourse, and mentoring young scholars toward meaningful academic and professional contributions.

Dr. Chanjana Elsa Philip holds a Ph.D. in Law and has over 17 years of teaching experience, along with 7 years of research and 2 years of industry exposure. She specializes in Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, and Public Law. Her scholarly work includes publications on constitutional interpretation, constitutional complexity, and the theory of deterrence in criminal jurisprudence, featured in reputed law journals. She has actively contributed to academic discussions on criminal procedure, evidence law, and constitutional governance through seminars and invited lectures. She serves as an Associate Professor at CMR University, School of Legal Studies, and has been associated with the institution since 2009. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is involved in mentoring students for moot court competitions and has served as a judge in national moot court events. She also contributes to academic publishing as part of the editorial team of university law journals, reflecting her continued engagement in legal scholarship and academic development.

Dr. Jayati Kharga is presently serving as the Principal-in-Charge at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies since 2023. She previously served as an Assistant Professor of Law at the same institution from 2016 onwards, contributing significantly to teaching and academic development. She completed her Ph.D. in Law from Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University in 2023 and obtained her LL.M. and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the Department of Law, University of North Bengal. She has actively participated in and presented papers at various UGC-sponsored national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programmes. In addition, she has published several research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her continuous engagement in legal research and scholarship.

Ashwathi Singh holds a B.A. LL.B. and LL.M., and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Law. Prior to entering academia, she gained professional experience as a Legal Associate, where she was involved in drafting, contract management, real estate transactions, compliance, and intellectual property documentation. Her research interests include constitutional governance, rule of law, comparative constitutional studies, and women’s political participation. She has published research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings and has presented papers at national and international conferences. She was awarded Best Presenter at the International Conference on Indian Knowledge System in April 2025. She is committed to promoting research-oriented legal education and fostering critical and analytical thinking among students.

He has presented research papers at national and international conferences and has published in reputed journals, including a Scopus-indexed journal. He has also gained practical legal experience through internships in courts and is enrolled with the Bar Council of India. Dr. Kunshang Lama is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nepal with over two decades of experience in legal practice, research, and policy advisory. He serves as a Subject Committee Member at Nepal Open University's Faculty of Law, General Secretary of the Criminal Law Society, Vice-coordinator of the Criminal Law Concern Committee of the Nepal Bar Association, and Expert Member of the Sentencing Suggestion Committee under Nepal's Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. in Law (with emphasis on Organized Crime in Nepal), an LL.M. in Criminal Law, and an M.A. in Sociology, all from Tribhuvan University. A guest lecturer and dissertation supervisor at leading law institutions, he has also served as a trainer at the National Judicial Academy, National Police Academy, and the Office of the Attorney General. Internationally, Dr. Lama has worked with the World Bank Group, UN Women, ILO, UNDP, and the European Union, providing legal consultancy and policy analysis on criminal law, access to justice, and legal reform. He has led numerous socio-legal research projects and authored dozens of reports and scholarly articles covering legal reform, organized crime, indigenous peoples' rights, and constitutional processes. Widely recognized as a specialist in criminal law, organized crime, rights-based advocacy, and socio-legal issues in Nepal, Dr. Lama continues to contribute to criminal justice reform and institutional development through academic, professional, and civil society engagements.

Rohit Tamang is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, West Bengal. He holds a B. Com. LL.B. from Indian Institute of Legal Studies and an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from CMR University School of Legal Studies. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Law from Amity University, Gwalior and is also pursuing M. Com. from Sikkim Manipal University, reflecting his interdisciplinary academic engagement. He has successfully completed his Ph.D. coursework. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 research publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and edited volumes. Several of his works are published in UGC CARE-listed journals and other reputed peer-reviewed platforms. His research primarily focuses on Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Criminal Justice, Governance, and interdisciplinary legal studies. Beyond publications, he has actively participated in and presented papers at various national and international conferences, seminars, and faculty development programmed. He is also engaged in academic coordination, research mentoring, and scholarly collaborations. As part of his broader academic vision, he is committed to promoting quality legal research, ethical publication standards, and interdisciplinary scholarship through his involvement in academic initiatives and journal development. His academic mission centers on fostering critical thinking, advancing socio-legal research, and contributing meaningfully to contemporary legal discourse at both national and international levels.
